Ingredients
- Rice, cooked (regular use rice) – 1 cup
- Curry leaves – 2 to 3
- Dry red chilli – 1
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Lemon juice – 2 tsp
- Cashew nut, half crushed – 1 tsp
- Peanuts, half crushed – 1 tsp
- Red & yellow bell pepper, chopped – 1 tsp (optional)
- Pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Sugar – to taste
- Oil – 1 tsp
Method
Heat 1 tsp oil in pan. Add mustard seeds, dry red chilli and curry leaves. When it crackles, add red & yellow bell pepper, crushed peanuts, cashew nuts. Fry it for 2 mins. Add turmeric powder, pepper powder, salt, sugar and lemon juice. Now add the cooked rice to it. Mix well and fry it for 2 mins. Serve hot with any side dish you desired.
